Your Global Gateway
We'd like to hear about your experiences of
using the DCSF Global Gateway and forming international
partnerships.
If you think other schools could benefit from reading about
your partnership, then we'd like to hear from you. Often reading
about other people's success is the easiest way to imagine your
own, so we'd like to build up a database of case studies that will
help newcomers make the most of their global partnership. Whether
you've got advice on how to avoid potential problems, or insights
into making the most of international cooperation, sharing your
experiences could help bring the benefits of global learning to
other schools. Whether you're a teacher, governor, parent or even a
pupil, if you've learnt something valuable through partnership,
we'd like to hear from you.
The information that schools new to internationalism find
most valuable includes:
- What have been the benefits of your partnership?
(This might include professional development for teachers,
increased enthusiasm from pupils, additional resources paid
for by funding or sponsorship)
- Examples of projects you've worked on
- The impact on the whole school
- Reports of visits. How did you manage? How would
you do it differently in the future?
- The most rewarding elements of the
partnership
