Exchanges and visitsHighcliffe pupils at Fudoin Temple

Exchanges and visits that support language learning, geography and science are popular with students and parents.

Curriculum-based work that sets up reasons for the trip beyond sightseeing and socials can be run through the year leading up to the visit to ensure that students really gain from the experience and build understanding. A link school can bring the visit alive, and 'top and tail' the trip itself through an ongoing project making it very worthwhile.

Initial visits
Teacher visits will precede the school trips. You can read more elsewhere on this site about arranging, planning and funding these.

Safety

Safety and procedure are of paramount importance. Detailed guidance is featured in this section.

Programmes and funding

An immense amount of funding is available to support projects such as this that involve 'mobility'.
